Health Tech / Virtual Care Platform

About MEDvidi
MEDvidi is a fast-growing health technology company delivering virtual care solutions at scale. We operate in a highly regulated healthcare environment where clinical quality, operational rigor, and patient experience are non-negotiable.
We are entering our next phase of growth and are building the leadership team required to scale responsibly, efficiently, and sustainably. This role is central to that mission.
The Role
We are seeking a VP of Operations / COO to build, own, and scale MEDvidi’s operational engine. This role serves as the CEO’s right-hand operator and execution lead - responsible for translating strategy into execution across the organization.
This is a hands-on, builder role for an experienced operator who has scaled health tech, virtual care, or healthcare services businesses through growth-stage complexity. You will design systems, diagnose problems, and drive execution - not maintain mature infrastructure.
You will partner closely with the CEO, CMO/clinical leadership, Finance, Growth, Product/Engineering, and CX, and will have access to an Executive Advisor for strategic guidance and mentorship.
Requirements
Who You Are
Required Experience
- 12–18 years of operations leadership experience
- Prior experience in health tech, virtual care, healthcare services, or other regulated healthcare environments
- Proven track record of scaling operations in a growth-stage company
- Strong financial and operational fluency - you understand unit economics, not just process
- Experience working closely with clinical leadership, providers, and compliance teams
Leadership Profile
- Builder mindset - comfortable with ambiguity and incomplete systems
- Highly data-driven with strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills
- Hands-on leader who can design strategy and execute
- Exceptional communicator who can navigate conflict, align stakeholders, and drive decisions
- High integrity, sound judgment, low ego
- Comfortable being accountable in high-growth, high-pressure environments
- Coachable, curious, and open to mentorship
Nice to Have
- Experience with MSO / PC structures
- Experience in virtual-first or hybrid care models
- Experience deploying AI-enabled or automated operational systems
- Experience scaling from early growth to meaningful revenue milestones
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Operational Leadership & Execution
- Own day-to-day operations across clinical operations, patient experience, fulfillment, and internal workflows
- Build and continuously improve scalable operating processes that balance speed, quality, cost, and compliance
- Serve as the integrator across teams, ensuring priorities are aligned and executed
- Establish and run the company operating cadence: KPIs, dashboards, weekly/monthly business reviews, and accountability rhythms
- Build a data-driven operating culture where decisions are guided by leading indicators, not anecdotes
CEO Partnership
- Act as the CEO’s right-hand operator, translating strategy into clear operating plans, priorities, and execution
- Drive cross-functional alignment, surface risks early, and ensure follow-through on company-wide initiatives
Clinical & Regulatory Partnership
- Partner closely with the CMO and clinical leadership to ensure:
- Clear clinical authority boundaries
- Safe, compliant, and scalable care delivery
- Strong alignment between the Professional Corporation and MSO where applicable
- Ensure operational systems support clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness
Financial & Performance Management
- Partner with Finance to improve unit economics, margin discipline, and operational efficiency
- Own the operating plan process: annual planning, quarterly reforecasts, headcount planning, and budget accountability
- Tie operational performance directly to financial outcomes
- Ensure company-wide planning and budgeting cycles are delivered on time with clear assumptions and ownership
Systems, AI & Automation
- Build, improve, and troubleshoot MEDvidi’s operational systems and tooling
- Partner with Product and Engineering to operationalize AI-enabled workflows and healthcare tools (clinical documentation, intake, support, scheduling, QA, back-office automation)
- Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual work while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance
Deep Problem Solving & Risk Management
- Go deep into operational data and workflows to identify root causes of issues across capacity, throughput, quality, and patient experience
- Lead structured problem-solving efforts and implement durable fixes, not temporary patches
- Identify and mitigate operational, regulatory, and execution risks before they become material
Team & Org Development
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing operational teams
- Hire and manage leaders across operations, CX, and adjacent functions
- Coach leaders, manage performance, and build a strong leadership bench
- Establish clear roles, decision rights, escalation paths, and ownership to reduce friction and increase speed
Why Join MEDvidi
- Opportunity to build and own the operational backbone of a growing health tech company
- High-impact leadership role with direct influence on company trajectory
- Close partnership with the CEO, executive leadership, and advisors
- Ability to shape how AI and modern systems are applied to healthcare operations
- Competitive compensation and equity aligned with impact
Compensation
Competitive base salary ($225,000–$250,000), meaningful equity participation, and a comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will be based on experience and impact.
