Nsisong Asanga
Dr. Nsisong Asanga is a physician, field epidemiologist, and health writing consultant with a passion for translating complex science into accessible, evidence-based stories. She studied Medicine and Surgery, holds a Master of Public Health, and completed an advanced Field Epidemiology certification with the U.S. CDC. In 2023, she further honed her expertise in health communication through advanced health writing studies at Harvard.
She has served as a physician and field epidemiologist, working across clinical practice, program management, and health systems strengthening in sub-Saharan Africa. Her contributions have earned her several recognitions, including the African Union Medal of Honour and the WHO/TDR Global Health Contest award.
