Dr. Snead served as Managing Partner of Doctors Office Centers and as a Board Member of Physicians Quality Care, a physician-owned Independent Practice Association (IPA) featured in Chicago Magazine

For 25 years, Dr. Snead ran a medical group practice twice a week alongside her regular practice, working with Dr. Egan, a naturopath and functional nutritionist, to teach patients about various medical illnesses and ways to avoid them. Together with licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs) she also conducted group mental health therapy sessions in various nursing homes.

Dr. Snead is the author of five books, including The Ultimate Handbook: How to Navigate the Horrors of Our Healthcare System with Confidence. She also serves as a Board Member of Innovative 2.0, a nonprofit organization that helps talented youth in the arts pursue their dreams.

My mother was physically ill throughout my entire childhood and also had debilitating agoraphobia. Watching her deal with these challenges gave me a strong interest in psychology and mental health and shaped my approach to medical care. I have a passion for not only treating patients, but also informing them about how to get and stay healthy.
