Author

Kathleen Frost has been passionate about writing since she was 11. Later, she began her career in traditional journalism as a science reporter and editor and eventually found her calling in digital medical writing and editing.

Living with a chronic illness, Kathleen knows firsthand how isolating and overwhelming the healthcare world can be. That experience fuels her mission to create clear, compassionate resources that help patients and caregivers feel more informed and less alone.

Kathleen holds a Master’s in Science Writing from Johns Hopkins University, along with dual Bachelor’s degrees in neuroscience and journalism from the University of Florida. She’s worked as the pet health and behavior editor at Rover and as a science writer for the Yale School of Medicine.

When she’s not writing, you’ll find her on the yoga mat, deep in meditation, or powering through a barre class. She’s also a proud cat mom to her tuxedo cat, Stacie.
