Head of Product Design
About The Position
MEDvidi is an AI-powered mental healthcare platform setting a new standard for safe, effective, and scalable psychiatric care in the United States.
We combine licensed providers with proprietary AI tools to deliver consistent, outcomes-driven treatment for conditions like ADHD, anxiety, depression, and more. MEDvidi's technology automates charting, follow-ups, and treatment planning, freeing providers to focus on patient care while improving efficiency and clinical quality.
As Head of Product Design, you'll lead our design team in a demanding, high-impact role that shapes what the company builds and how. You'll own the design strategy for the company and be its strongest voice for behavioral design across all product initiatives, operating at both executive and hands-on levels.
You'll manage a team of 3 designers directly and oversee product solutions across the company, leading design across two tracks, Core and AI. You'll report to the VP of Product and partner directly with Product, Data, and Engineering leadership.

Responsibilities
- Guard the quality of design and product decisions: partner with Product, Data, and Engineering leadership as the design counterpart, challenge solutions that don't move a team's key results.
- Lead design across two tracks: Сore and AI.
- Own the company's design strategy: focused on brand perception and user success, including how patients perceive and value the service.
- Unblock initiative velocity: help teams in breaking large, ambiguous initiatives into executable pieces they can ship.
- Run substantive design critique: evaluate solutions against requirements and market patterns, holding the bar beyond "looks polished / usable" to whether the design solves the real problem and changes user behavior.
- Build, grow, and shape the design team: manage designers directly, decide who to develop and when to hire next, and evolve the team as both tracks scale.
Requirements
- 8+ years in product design, 3+ leading teams
- Behavioral design expertise: you build experiences that change how people behave, not just ship features
- Experience across both B2B SaaS and consumer apps
- Experience building products 0→1 and growing existing ones
- Experience setting and executing design strategy focused on brand perception and user success
- Strong product sense: the design you create or lead solves real problems
- Human advocacy: you'll be the company's strongest voice for human-centered experiences and bring the behavioral perspective into every product decision
- Structured problem-solving with decision trees or equivalent frameworks
- Executive-level communication: you bring clarity to complex, uncertain situations
- Advanced English (C1+) and fluent Russian
- You live by values: ownership, focus, radical transparency, evidence-based decisions
Would be a plus
- You can prototype an AI product yourself, without engineering
- Experience leading design in AI products
